Hie i would like to expand my line of friendship by meeting new people especially black peoples. Which i didn't see much here in Singapore but others are welcome to. No problem. Reply back. yeah. Love to hear from u guys.

missy, hope that you have found more friends in singapore. are you from the states? i have a really good friend who is african american in chicago. she got me interested in soul food which was so good. i can't seem to find any place in singapore that has similar food.

there are tons of black people or "peoples" in singapore.
just go to little india on weekends and u will see loads of them. u can join them for a picnic under the tree in the middle of nowhere. or u can hold their hands in hands in hands and wander down the street. blocking everyone else that comes your way.. hahaha

if u want brown people, i can meet me but my colour changes depending on the level of tan i got.

if u want blue black people, go to any rowdy places, join a fight and u will be blue black all over...

Hiya,
Well I'm 21 and and a student from the UK I arrived in Singapore in September 2007 and now my hair is going crazy on me. Please does anyone know where I can get my hair braided in singapore? I'm on placement in singapore for a year and at this rate i'm gonna have ruined my hair if left to look after it myself! Guess my mum was right when she said I should learn to do my own hair!!

Please all help will be greatly appreciated...

I can braid your hair when I get to Singapore this year. hahahahaha I'm black, living in NY and planning to move to Singapore by June. I can't wait to meet folks and have a good time, make some independent movies, get my eat on, on a regular, and travel. hahahaha

I'd open up a soul food joint while I'm there but I wasn't paying attention while my mama was cookin. Shame on me.

Indonesian women at Kuta beach in Bali do a good job at braiding the hair. It only costs about $5 ... if you are not White I suppose. they did a good job with my daughters hair a couple of years ago.

If you are lucky you may get a cheap flight out of Singapore to Denpasar... its only about 3 hours away!

Does that sound reasonable?
