Have there been any plans yet.

I am an expat from Holland and live in Singapore for about 4-5mths now. Desparately seeking to broaden my social network (and practice my poor communication skills on you all. Things do go smoother after a couple of wines-))

Are you referring to me?! I work in the IT sector (Dutch expat). Not sure why it matters unless there is an IT drinking buddy day! (I'll buy it).

Anyways I am getting slightly confused (before even raising a glass) for what day there is a meetup. Or do all expats just drink everyday (I'll buy that too)?

I just updated my profile for the post-Valentine's Day quote - and it looks like it changed the original quote too! Oh well, it was only supposed to be a one-day special.

Dunno 'bout those finance and banking guys. Maybe it's the ties cutting off the circulation? You don't see too many IT people wearing ties - we actually need to think to do our jobs. Which is probably why we also need to drink afterwards. (maybe that will be my quote for tomorrow

)

As for tonight, well, Super14 Rugby starts tonight, so it's either stay home or go to a bar that will be playing it. I'm thinking Bungee Bar at CQ, or failing that, Brewerkz.
