I am the only expat stay at home Dad in singapore?

I think that's why mommies get so much in divorce courts. Let's face it, they don't call them "Domestic Engineers" for nuttin'.

Full time mother's have my greatest respect. Especially those who manage without hired help like my Mother did and hold a full time job as well!

Good on you QRM! My wife and I moved out here 15 months ago, and likewise Igave up my job to look after our daughter. It is very rewarding but quite hard to find others Dad's in similar positions. My daughter is now two and goes to nursery five mornings a week, which gives me time to do my hobby of re-developing properties. We then spend the afternoon together visiting gyms etc...the usual singapre epaxt life for Mums!!!

To be honest I have only met Mums, both through her nursery school and through swimming classes that I take her too. It has been the best way to meet knew friends for us both. I might try the ANZA meet this month to find out what the score is. Will post when I have been.

Not that I want to blow my own trumpet, but for all those who question if a Dad is suitable to bring up a baby girl, our baby just won the pampers baby of the year award !!. ( Bit cheezzy I know, but good fun)

Shes earned more than me, a cheque and 3500 free pampers!!

What was scary is the how seriously some of the other mums take it all, make up, cattle prods etc.

Fortunately the judges chose kids that are confident and naturally happy, rather than being forced to act and dress like circus monkeys.
