I'm not so sure whether it is an open day or not. hope it is. I'm going by the way. I'm having problem uploading the photo on it's website. I managed to upload one but i can't upload another anymore. My file size is less than the stated max size.

It's an open day. Today i just saw it in The Star newspaper. So I think there will be alot of people going to give it a try. I also heard that there is one girl who just got in Air Asia want to go for this interview too...

hey cythx, do u know how many rounds we need to go through? what we will be doing in each round? ...i read in this forum about the interview, but it is like a year old already. I'm not sure about the current/interview procedures.

Our Open Day is an interactive information session where you will have the opportunity to meet with our Recruitment team and learn more about our Cabin Crew lifestyle, package and living in Doha, Qatar. Your application will be reviewed and only those short-listed will be invited for further recruitment processes on:

10th August 2008 (Sunday)- Preliminary Selection :
11th August & 12th August 2008 (Monday & Tuesday)- Final Interviews
(Time and venue will be advised for both sessions)

I just checked the qatar airways website. It stated for the KL interview is only for female cabin crews. So i suppose guys aren't allow to try right?

Cythx, is it stated in The Star, that they are hiring female crews only?

Yes, it is just only for female. In The Star stated very clearly.

So sad..that is is just for females only. Probably i'm going there to have a look and at the same time accompany my gf.

I went to the Emirates interview as well....but they only recruit females too. But i heard that some guys make it too. It is like they interview guys right outside the interview rooms. They don;t allow us to go through the group discussion together with the females.

Hi, I need some advice. In the mail i received from them stated need full length photo with both hand at the side. Previously i took the full length photo in studio is with both hand in front... now i need to go back studio and took it again and they only can get it ready by next week. It's not enough time for me. Do you think that use back the old one will affect me? Thank you

I guess you better to get a new photo taken with your hands beside. During the Emirates interview...i saw some girls photos got rejected and she need to take a new photo on the spot. There is a instant photo booth right outside the hall.

Better don't risk the your chance. A full length might cost you the most RM30...than to risk failing your interview. Hope that helps.

Cythx,adviceable2tk a new1now instead of they ask u to get it done by a day b4 u can attend the primilary interview or final interview...

So, u r going for the interview??I am as well...Cythx,if not mistaken u from pg is it?I feel abit headache with qatar airways interview now...if not selected for final interview then no big deal but if selected for final interview then i really duno how to go back to work....bcos my leave have to apply 3 in advance.

Yes, I'm going for the interview and I'm from Penang. For this kind of situation, if you really got selected for the final interview then you got to take emergency leave. My leave have to apply 1 week in advance. For this case, I might take emergency leave.
