Hi everyone, moved to Singapore about 10 days ago so have just about reached the point where I can turn around and NOT lose my bearings (only just mind). Working in the National Eye Centre 8.30 - 5.30 so free in the evenings and at weekends. Would love to meet up with a couple of people for a drink, film etc and maybe be let into the secrets of expat life. Look forward to hearing from you. Sally x

Hi Sally, i just moved here as well, 3 weeks now. I'm working for a magazine in East Coast and living in the East as well, and since i'm still nursing my injured ankle, i can't really do any sports, so i'll be free most evenings and weekends. Would love to hangout, movies or drinks. Maybe some sports after it healed. So, you live in which part of the island Sally?

UR more than welcome dude.. After all we all are here to make new frend in a land away from home.

So lets freeze this meeting at clarke quay. Since most of us are new to this place and Ithink that clarke is 1 place every 1 wudd hv heard abt. hehe

Unless some 1 comes up wih an amazingly wonderful idea in shortly..
we'll b meeting at 9:30 pm at Clarke quay on Saturday the 16th. I think Pump room wudd be a good place to meet.. I ve been there once. Any thoughts??

I've been in singapore 3 weeks now and have been useless at attending any of the things organised on here that I say I will! I am going to a graduate student party on Sentosa tomorrow night though, but would love to meet you guys some other time.
