Ya rock climbing sounds very inetresting to me ..although i would be a complete newbie to this...... but im more than curious to learn it ....
So how can we get started with this ....

to get started you can hire an instructor to belay you, he will teach you the basics of rock climbing, or other alternative get some one whose exprienced enough to guide you along, lets say a level one cert he/she should know the basic knowledge on tieing ropes,belaying etc.

hi all,
i just passed my level 1 last 2 weeks....
i can only climb the easy wall but hopefully will improve with more practices...
looking for anyone to climb together who weighs about 45-50 kg and doesn't mind climbing with a beginner....

I have climbed off and on in the states for a few years.
I was wondering what are the normal fees here in Singapore for climbing indoors (wall fee, shoes, harness, chalk...)

anyone keen on doing the level 1 course at climb asia on either 27 sept or 4 oct? pls pm me if interested.. i climbed some time back but am quite rusty with the terminology,knots etc.

prices for entry is usually $12, the rest such as the harness, climbing shoes, belay device and chalk beg cost $8 to $14 (the total cost) it varies actually

Looks like a lot of people aare on for climbing. Count me in if any of are planning to climb. I have climbed before and have a level 1 certification but that was like 1 year back or so. Might need some brush up
