I'm considering going for a short sat-mon relaxing holiday on some island in Malaysia, not too far from Singapore, for Deepavali.
Checking the net, it sounds like Rawa and the islands off Terenggau are a paradise.
Any feedback from any of you?
Thank you

Go fast -- the East Coast Malaysia season is ending, and most ferries/resorts will close by the end of the month.

rawa is nice and rustic. i've been there many times before and i like it. but it's been some years since i last stepped on their crazy pier so i hope it's still awesome.

yeah, that's my concern too. I've been suggested the place but last visit dates back few years and who knows how the massive tourism attitude has been affecting...
well, thanx, I'll report after the trip, if I go there...

Thanx for the invitation. Actually Bali will be one of my next "victims", but I think it deserves a coulpe of days more than what I can take this round. Maybe next time...

Thanx to all suggestions.
For this trip I picked a different location, an island in west sumatra, as I was scared of finding traffic jam on my way to Mersing...definitely, on recovering from the wet season, I won't miss Rawa in the future!
