Look for new friends from USA and UK

Post by George_Johnson » Thu, 09 Oct 2008 7:46 pm

Dear Friends,

I am from China, male, just 29 years old, 174cm tall.
now is doing my master's degree in a business school in Singapore.

I would like to know some friends from USA and UK, becuase
I want to talk with them to improve my English.

And also I hope I could bring some fun to you as much as
I can. If you think some kind of activities are good for me, please
recommend them to me.

Or you can add my MSN: [email protected]

Thanks!

dear meister George Johnson,

i am writing to inquire what sort of "fun" you can bring to people, because you sound quite enthusiastic about indulging in "good activities!"

would you like to continue this conversation in the Leisure/Rubbish/Junk section? don't be afraid to get explicit or use details!

okay, i'm kidding. you take care and i hope you have a great time with school. i'm sure your singaporean classmates can speak english too...

Haha! of course there are many Singaporeans in the school. But as soon as they find I am Chinese and can not speak fluent English, they switch to Mandarin at once. And I also find myself can not "open the mouth" when face a person who can speak Mandarin. This is the reason.
But also need to thank you for your kindness.

hmmm!

what do you mean you can't open your mouth when you meet someone who can speak mandarin?

why don't you tell them to speak to you in english so you can practice the language? don't take NO for an answer!

or just reply them in english.

what sorta masters are you doing and whereabouts are you doing it? what was your bachelor degree about?
