Playgroup for 13mths old

Hi,
Any mommies out there interested to meet up for playgroup?

I would like to do more stuff outdoor - walking in east coast, botanical garden, tea & coffee etc...

Yes, my boy needs some friends and I want my life back too!

Hi

We are mowing to Singapore in a couple of months. We don't know where we will rent a house/condo, but my husband will be working at the west coast. We have a doughter, 11 months and a son, 4 years.
We are used to spending a lot of time outdoors playing and walking. We would love to join a playgroop, especially because we heard that there aren't much outside playtime for the kids in kindergarten.

I would love to get some recommendations about kindergartens and and condos!

Hi, we joined my husband just about a month ago after having our new baby

My husband works on Jurong Island and he was staying in serviced apt. in the city centre - Cairnhill Rd., since Feb. Now we live here in Jurong West in Lakeshore condo in an apt. with a garden and we love it! Especially the view, the nearby park and gardens and the swimming pool and other facilities in this complex are just magic for a family with kids. Also everyday shopping is cheaper here.

Suprisingly, it takes my husband a little bit more time to get to work than from the city centre as it was faster using the expressway.
Yeah, Singapore is pretty small so there is no problem with travelling to work and even public transport is wonderful - as the train MRT is buggy friendly

Life in Condo is so far very strange for me as I find it very difficult to make friends here. Even with the kids...

Maybe impossible with the locals?

We have just arrived in Singapore and am interested in meeting up....have you started up any regular coffee/walking catch up's?? I have a 15 month old daughter, Ella and we are living in the East around the Bedok area.

Hi all ( I am trying this again, my messages are not being posted..arggh)

Originally am from Singapore but have lived in the US for the past 6 yrs and currently we are in India. I have a 16 month old daughter and am looking to make other mommy friends. I wll be visting Singapore from 9th nov to 21st dec and was wondering if my toddler could meet other toddlers. Its so hard to make friends in Asia. no one wants to TALK!! So am desperate for my child to interact with someone her age!

Hey mummies,

There are many groups out there to make other mummy friends (both local and expats)...

For example you can join the la leche group or breastfeeding support groups. There is also the East Coast Beach Mums group.

Then there are is TheAsianParent facebook group for Singapore-based mummies who are on facebook . There is also asia parents yahoo group. (Different from TheAsianParent facebook group, this one targets breast feeding Singapore based moms).

These are probably the most active groups out there for parents...each one has over few thousand members.

Yes, the tread went totally off which is why I stopped following...

I'm open to meet up anywhere, just don't know why people started asking if I'm living in East coast etc... I mean, Singapore is small, I would definitely travel the extra miles to meet up with friends!
