If you take the effort to look at the airline's website, it states that they are conducting an open day which is (let me repeat this for the umpteen times) OPEN to all. You DO NOT NEED to register online. They get the invite just because they have registered online and it's just a reminder from Emirates in case they don't know there will be a recruitment drive in Singapore. Please, if you want to be in this line, have a bit of initiative to browse through the airline's website to find out what you are looking for. If you have trouble finding the careers page, you're at least looking at other pages where you can gain knowledge on the airline itself. Exactly! There is a lot you can do for yourself (for those that can be bothered) and I have posted several stickies some on behalf of singaporegrrl and queenie-me. The trouble is way too many still come here and persistently ask the same questions over and over again more concerned about the clothes they will wear or their looks ignoring a thread of any sense. Before I became a cabin crew, I kept thinking, "should I be asking this question? Wiil it sound stupid?" And so I ended up not asking at all and just research about it online. There tons of websites sharing information on how to go through airline interviews, the experiences of real life cabin crew, etc, etc. Honestly, Yahoo! and Google is a great thing because you can search on anything under the sun. Thus, I gained so much knowledge from all that surfing and researching, I could almost answer any questions about the job my friends asked me although I WAS NOT a cabin crew yet. I'm not trying to show off but just trying to prove a point that self-research will help you a lot more than to come here, ask questions that have been asked loads of times before, waiting for someone to answer. And when someone actually answers, sometimes it's not the right answer at all coz majority of the people here aren't cabin crew yet so you are bound to get conflicting answers. That's why, don't wait to be fed! The world WIDE web is so WIDE, you can find almost anything you're looking for. Besides, we don't need anymore bimbos in the industry.
