Hi folks
We've recently arrived from Scotland and after a couple of weeks of getting rid of jet lag, tummy bugs and just trying to get used to the heat (doubt I ever will) - I'm ready to try and venture out a bit more!
I have two kids - a wee boy aged 4 and a wee girl aged 1. My wee boy is going to a local nursery (we're in Ang Mo Kio) from 11.45am til 2.45pm each week day.
I'd love to try and find somewhere to take my wee girl where she could socialise with other babies - preferably during the hours my son is at nursery - but to be honest - just any suggestions of things to do/places to go would be welcome.
Thanks.
Catherine

Hi Diana
Thank you so much for the invitation.
Unfortunately I can't make it this Tuesday. Our oven isn't working and someone is coming out to repair it that day.
I'd love to meet up some other time though so please let me know when your next meeting with the mums is happening.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Sorry Diana - I'm a dope!
Still not sure if I'll be able to make this meet up as I'd have to be back at Ang Mo Kio by 11.30am-ish for my wee boy to start nursery at 11.45am which wouldn't give me much time with you guys by the time we travelled back.
I'd really love to come some time though - maybe if you were having a meeting around lunchtime/afternoon I could tag along then?
Will look out for the next meet up happening or if you just fancy meeting for a chat and let the wee ones play some day I'd be up for that too.

Hi Catherine
Yeah, just see if you think it's worth coming for 1-1 1/2 Hrs. Otherwise, we live pretty close to eachother, so it is very easy for us to meet any time. Just let me know when it is convenient for you.

Hi Diana
I'm not great at being organised to get out in the mornings so chances of me making it for 9.30am are pretty slim!!
James goes into nursery at 11.45am and I have to be back to pick him up at 2.45pm. Would you like to meet up one day around lunchtime?
Any day suits me. In fact James has no nursery on 5, 6 and 7 November as they're closed due to the graduation concert so if those days suit we would be free all day.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi. For me lunchtime is pretty complicated. When I'm not at work, I'm at home because my daughter is asleep then. The 5th sounds good. I am always off on wednesday, so no stress then for me. We can see what the wetter is like and meet somewhere nearby.
Hope to see you soon. Bye, Diana

Hi Diana
Sorry I can't make tomorrow now. We're free all day on Friday though - would that suit you? My wee boy's nursery is closed on Friday so any time suits us.
Sorry about tomorrow. My wee boy's been going on and on about going to see Daddy at work and that's the only day that suits my husband. I'm not sure what my wee boy thinks goes on in the IT Department of a bank but something tells me he's going to be rather disappointed!!
Hope Friday suits you.

..with my husband and 1 year-old daughter, 2 weeks ago. And looking for people to meet, and places to go to with my daughter!
I am a 30-year old woman, and used to work as a biology-teacher untill our little girl was born. Now I am mainly a stay-at-home mum, and starting to get bored on my own!
We are still in a serviced apartement right now, but next week we are going to move to te Aspen Heights
condo on River Valey Road.
Could me and my daughter join in some of these meetings you are talking about?

Hi Fayke
Of course you can! I have no idea where River Valley Road is - I'm still very new to Singapore and still don't have my bearings but the MRT is pretty good (can use with buggy as there are lifts) so hopefully we can meet up somewhere that'll suit you too.
Diana will let us know where we're meeting up on Friday if you'd like to join us then?
