well it really depends. There is really nothing you *should* do. What type of course are you studying, and when is it? How old are you? Maybe some suggestions so you can make the most of it:
(I assume you are from an European country and Caucasian)
The biggest thing is probably this one:
- Book the ticket, so that you dont have go back immediately after the exam, I know people how did so and regret it. Take a return flight maybe 4-6 weeks later (or even longer), so you can travel around to the neighbouring countries in SE-Asia. Awesome! There are budget airlines from Singapore taking you anywhere you want.
- Secure enough funding. Singapore is almost as expensive as a Major European city, and if you like to have the odd drink, if will burn a hole in your pocket. (Expect cover charge for a club at 25 S$ and a drink starting from 10S$) Age limits for clubs is also higher, don't remember for girls though.
- Accomodation is a problem right now. If your school provides, you're fine. If not expect to fork out 700S$ (or more) per month if you want your own room and airconditioning. Although there are cheaper rooms for female students, but you would live with the landlords (and probably not allowed to bring visitors)
- A thing which you should prepare yourself tfor : You might develop ADS (attention deficit syndrome
) . Most likely you will receive much less attention from guys than in your country.
- Well, you should of course study, and make friends with the other students.
- Stay on the right side of the law.
- Enjoy your stay.
