Can anyone help me. As we have just moved to Singapore hubby has not been able to check out the local courses.
I am planning on getting him a game at one of the nice courses but am rather ignorant as to which is:
a) a nice course and
b) where he can go without a member
Can anyone guide me in the right direction. Thanks

Hi,
We're in the same boat - just moved here a month ago and my hubby is a very keen golfer! We live right near the Marina Bay golf course in the east coast and checked it out over the weekend and looks good!
If your hubby's keen on heading out for a game let me know and will give you the details!

Hi
We live near there too (Pebble Bay!), so I am sure he would be very interested. We are in Oz for Christmas, back on 28th.
I can contact you when we are back if you like.

Iv'e lived here for a while and play around once a month, have a bunch of different golf buddies. One question, what standard do they pley, do they have an official handicap, relative beginners, break 100 etc..

Hubby plays off somewhere around 9 or 10 at the moment and has an official Australian handicap (excuse my ignorance as to whether these are international or not!). Am sure he would love a regular crowd to play with.

I think the handicap system is pretty standard around the world, my husband plays off about 15 but hasn't been a member of a club for a while so hasn't got an official handicap.
My husband was hoping to get together with a few people that were intrested to play at a local course like Marina Bay.
