Hello to All,
I'll be moving to Singapore from DXB in March. Here my 17 month-old boy has lots of play-friends and me lots of mummies to meet.
I'm happy to know that there are some get-togethers organised.
As a newcommer I have so many questions and concerns.
I'd love to keep in touch and join you when I'm there.
Q: any good nurseries you can recommend?
Q: where to look for babysitters?
Would appreciate any help.

Hi there,

I have just moved from Melbourne, Australia 2 days ago to join my husband who is working here. We have a 10 week old baby son, and I am keen to join a mother's group and meet other mothers and make new friends here in Singapore. I live in Tiong Bahru and have access to the local MRT. Any chance I can join in the mother's group Helen?

Hi Helen,

Thanks for your posting. I am keen to come along. I will be bringing my baby boy Ned who will turn 11 weeks on that day!!! I will need an address please, and also, let me know if you would like me to bring anything along. I am not area-savvy yet, as I have been in Singapore 1 week today, but I can look up how to get there if you can send me the details asap. Also, I may end up catching a cab, and not the train or bus, to the address, perhaps for the 1st visit, so that I actually get there in 1 piece.
