not actually..my friend is in there..the very first batch..Jetstar International's basic pay is $700. Whereas Jetstar Asia's basic pay is $850. Jetstar International has got layover flights. Yes they do..but they are
NOT being paid the layover allowances. The pay is lower cause they've just started the Singapore Based here(Only 3 batches). I was shocked to hear this too. But the other time when I went for the interview, they did show us the pay structure, and it turned out to be true. Another disadvantage is that, you will have to pay $1850 upfront. That is considered to be like a bond payment. On top of that, medical fees of about approx $700 must be paid (no claims from company). Im still thinking..of whether I wanna accpet the job offer or not. Im selected for the next batch. But thinking bout all the money issues..made me very confused now.

Well, i guess back to if u really have the passion to be part of the Team... nothing else matters...
Like some of the crew said, u may get a banker's guarantee if you face any financial problems with the bond tingy... Cheers!

Previously heard from rumours that Feb there might be a recruitment with Jetstar. But till now no news given. Anyone knows friends working with Jetstar, i think they'll have the first hand of news.
