hey would y'all like to check out this cozy nepalese restaurant in Little india someday? it's called Mini Nepal. Food is nice and the staffs there are really friendly.

Hi .. I also strongly recommend this place called Mini Nepal. The price is reasonable & the food is good (especially their tandoori ~ *drools*).

I knw the owners of tat place and they are very very nice couple. Their son & daughter are very well-mannered and adorable too.

I knew of few cheap & good places for food, but might be sold out by time we meet for dinner, cos these places usually start from lunch ! !

2 places within the city are:

1 - Herbal Duck Soup <$5 ! !

2 - Herbal Mutton Soup (Hot Item) + Chicken Rice + Other Dishes

What time to we have to be there during the weekday night?
Also, are they open on Weekend?

1 - Closed on Tue/Wed, I don't remember. It depends on the demand on that day. Thus, Duck Soup can be sold out by 7pm, or you can still have it at 8pm.

2 - Mutton Soup is only available on Fri, Sat & Sun throughout the day. As usual, it can be sold out by evening, although other items are still available.

I remember a stall used traditional way of cooking prawn noodle soup, which is still tasty & cost $2 after 16 years. But the hawker centre is under renovation now, so I don't know where it is operating now.

For Chinese cooking, there are 2 places in Tiong Bahru that are famous for 煮炒, a common choice our my "Makan Gang's Reunion Dinner".

I don't mind dinner, but I am still working at 7:30pm, most likely will only finish by 8pm. Thus, I won't be able to make it so early.

The No. 9 at Tiong Bahru, has 2 restaurants near to each other. Both are good & famous. So, need 2 dinner session ! !

Now I remember a place for my long missed yummy Turtle Soup. Can be arranged for any weekday's evening. Avoid Monday. Yum Yum Yum.

Dounut just DIY a pot of Apple + Pear + Spare Rib = Soup. Yum Yum Yum

Also, a laid back place for relax dinner & drink place, more like a "holiday" rather than on Red Dot Island, is a seaside place way out of the city. But need to find out how the place has become after being "changed hand". This, we should arrange it on a weekend or at least Friday?
