Any Shanghainese here?

My hubby and I just relocated to Singapore from New York. We both are shanghainese. Just trying my luck to see if anyone here can speak the same lauguage. My cantonese sucks, but I speak Mandarin. Not sure whether will be welcomed in this forum.

Mandarin not required.
English (and Singlish) most often used.

Have Shanghainese colleagues here, but don't think they use this site.
They would more likely be on a Chinese site (华文).

Welcome to Singapore. My husband and I came to singapore from Japan 5 years ago. He is a Hong Kong Chinese. I am a hybrid, Shanghai born and grew up in Hong Kong. Can speak fluent Shanghainese and Cantonese.

Would love to meet new friends and hear from your experiences.
