Hey gang there's heaps of people you can meet through "WNDC" , "FNDC", and also the trivia nights. Plenty of people here meet up for different occasions so keep your eyes (and that great search function here) and link up. It's not hard to meet up with people here in Singaore - just need to use the forum as a start!
Cheers, Mr. P

definitely agree with your statement, i wonder how a small country that is awfully loaded by people from everywhere but then its just really hard to get fun-social life..work has absorbed too much of our time that somehow we ended up not knowing other people other than our colleagues! and thats kinda boring... been in Beijing before, but that was so much easier to make friends! anyway if you guys are up for something over the weekend let me know - cheers! email me will do!

Hi, I'm Jacq 24f from malaysia. Been around in sg for a decade. I don't mind bringing a newie around. Just tried Shisha over the weekend.. Anyone in for a shisha? Its a flavoured smoke from the middle east. Quite contradicting for an anti-smoker to introduce this. (grins)
Just a suggestion. Let me know if keen.
Jacq
Just gotta keep tryin!

it's funny. I keep thinking that there are over a million expats in Singapore, but everyone always says it's hard to meet people! I think it's cause for so many, bars seem to be the only venue to find new friends. I've been here for about 7 months now. Been making friends in different circles. Anyone have an interest in doing a group dinner sometime this week?
happy to organize.

Totally agree. I guess it's hard for some because they are not out with a group in the first place.
Anish: I think a group dinner sounds fab. Are you planing on organizing one this weekend? 3rd April weekend

Hi,
I've just arrived in Singapore.
Would also be interested to go out for a drink. Have you already done the group dinner?
Don't hesitate to PM me!

Hi,
I've been here for almost 6 years and getting really tired of the normal boring stuff.
looking for people who would like to explore all the hidden gems here.
e.g. - cuisines from all around the world?
