A Singaporean Learning to Speak Cantonese

Post by VictoriaKhim » Tue, 03 Mar 2009 6:03 pm

Hi hi,

I am a Singaporean lady who is seeking Cantonese speakers to learn conversational Cantonese. Am a big fan of HK TVB drama and thus, will be nice to be able to speak the native language.

Hope to hear from you ...

Hi VictoriaKhim,

You are interested in learning conversational cantonese? I am also interested in improving my mandarin. Please pm if you would like to learn and are you an expat working??? Im not working at the moment (housewife) so at this stage I can assist you and would like to make some friends in Singapore because I dont work neither do i study so get bored.

I also like watching TVB, yet i find that the tvb dramas in singapore are a bit behind...

Wow... Seems a nice idea... Exchanging of HK Drama's DVD...
I'm not a good cantonese speaker though... But can understand the language well. If ask me to speak, might have some difficulties =)

But I'm interested in joining too... Have quite a number of old series though... But all are original... (Prefer collect old drama series) like 梁朝伟 '鹿鼎记' etc etc

Willing to Share My Knowledge of Cantonese with U

Post by BILLY LUI » Mon, 03 May 2010 9:18 am

Cheers there...

This is Bill, a chinese local who is rather well versed in Cantonese, and is willing to share with U the "Art of Speaking Gentle Cantonese"... which many people claim it is the most gentle form of Dialects, compare to Hokkien or Teochew... well... I guess so :)

Do contact me at 97292249 for a chat, or maybe U wanna drop me an e-mail at [email protected]

Wishing U Happiness in Life... :)

Cheers,
COACH BILLY
