How about an odd inclusion? I've spoken english all my life but am fascinated by the chinese heritage- the language, the calligraphy, the customs, the martial arts etc. It'd be great to delve deeper into these with you mandarin friends, maybe I'll pick up a bit of the language and the script too? In return I'll bring in a few things to the table that you might like to use.
So am I welcome?

Me too me too! I'm planning to come if you'll still have me! They don't have many 5 sided tables so probably I can squeeze on the end! Zen me yang

Hi,
Thanks so much for that Catidudette. I have told them it's for Mandarin Corner now just incase there's any confusion. So sorry this is last minute guys. I'm on full bed rest for the next 3 days! Sigh! My bad luck!
Thanks,
Kluane
Also...You should all come out the see Short and Sweet 10 minute play Festival this coming week. There is a section for Mandarin plays and also a play that I am directing in the English section. You can just show up on the night (Wednesday-Sunday this coming week) at Lasalle College of the Arts, 1 McNally Street (near Little India MRT) <this is only for the English section> or you can book tickets online and find out more info about the mandarin 10 minute plays at:

Take gd care and get well soon kd.
5 peoples turn out yesterday and we have pretty gd time. A little suggestion from us is may be we could pick other venue for our next meet up, cause Breeks seems a little bit too noisy for discussion.

Hey guys,
In the interests of improving our mandarin and having another group outing...let's go see some 10 minute plays:
Short+Sweet Singapore is back with our second year of Mandarin 10 plays
featuring everything from Sichuan
cooking to a suicide attempt that takes an unexpected turn!
Mandarin 10
(In Chinese with no subtitles)
Rating | R-18
1 – 5 July | 8pm
Play Den, The Arts House
We just go along at 7:30pm and see if we can get door sales (This FRIDAY July 3rd) Anyone keen? I think it's $25 or $20 concession tickets. I'm gonna go along anyway so let me know if you want to join :-)
