I heard that formula in singapore was expensive but we went shopping and everywhere its slightly cheaper than Melbourne even at Jasons. We did try an american brand here and found it sweeter. Dont have a problem with sleeping she slept through 9-6.30 since 3 weeks old. We tried to let her take alot before she goes to sleep. formula fills them up I think more than breast milk but as shes got older she has rejected formula. She is onto solids now at 4 months and that fills her up although she wants the comfort of breats feeding before she sleeps now.
My next one will most likely be a terror.

Really.. Well, i use to pay around $22-27AUD for S26 Gold and normal S26 is around $17AUD in Melbourne. In Singapore, for the same size container either Nestle or Similac brand, you will be looking at $35-37. Which brand are you using that is cheaper compared to Melbourne prices?

I am trying to wean my 11mth old onto cow milk soon, so hopefully won't have to pay so much for formula. Just wish i can start toilet training soon as well..

Aimee40, if you are not already then switch to cotton diapers during the day and you will find your baby will potty train much much sooner.
Our daughter was using the toilet (she never liked the potty) by 14 months, but disposable diapers can keep the baby "un" potty trained for more than 2 years!
Because disposables never allow the baby to actually feel wet, they do not associate the physical feeling of urinating with actually being wet. Once the baby links the feeling and the outcome together then they also add on the prior feeling of "needing" to urinate very quickly after.

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely start very soon. It will be alot easier to clean up any mess, no carpets.
This is my second child, the first one was kind of trained in childcare. All the kids lined up to use the potty, so she followed them. Just started not to wear diapers during the night at 4.

There are a heap of S26's I think the Gold one you mentioned is cheaper but the one I was using was not. The S26 I saw here was around S$28 and the one in Melbourne I think Alpha something was AUD$29. splitting hairs really but my point was I heard it was lot more expensive and didnt find that.

I might be a bit too late but just in case your babies/toddlers are having sleep settling issues, you might want to try getting the book Save our Sleep by Tizzie Hall. I used the methods in this book and by the end of the week our then 9m old was sleeping 12 hours straight from 630pm. I wished I'd known about this book before as we endured 9 months of waking every 2 hours! not fun. Good luck and hope this helps.
