New to Singapore, looking for friends to explore my new home

Aloha! My husband and I just arrived a little over a week ago and now that we have settled in a bit, we (more so me) would like to meet some new friends. I am currently not working so I have a lot of time on my hands to get a lay of the land. I'd like to find people with common interests/bkgd...both in our early 30's, we are from Hawaii, love to travel (who doesn't, right?), like going out to bars and clubs, miss our dogs, into photography, always looking for events, like the outdoors and are pretty chill. It seems a bit strange to make friends this way but I'm willing to give it a try. Contact me if you'd like to meet up!

I'm a male and be 33 on 21st July =X
I agreed. Most love traveling, and I'm one of them too. However, its difficult to find a traveling kakis, whom can go travel together. Beside that, I'm more of introvert type of person, like online gaming, movies, swimming, reading comics etc. I'm not really into clubbing, as I don't dance. But again, I'm more to pubbing I guess. Used to frequent pubs once a week (but not a good drinker) and recently due to H1N1 case, and friends not free, hence did not really go drink for quite sometime

I've just arrived here last week for my MBA course even thought i've been working in Marketing and Communication over 3 years.
In my opinion, as more opportunity for communication we make, as more as pleasure we take. Do you agree?
