Okay, this is quite sad- I swear I'm no beer fanatic. But I'm thinking of taking my Singaporean colleagues out for some good German beer. Trying to avoid the usual though- so no 'Brotzeit' or 'Paulaner' please!
There must be other placs that serve good German beer??? Also, I've heard of a legendary German bakery in Chinatown- anyone know whether they serve beer?
Cheers!!!

@sezsarah
Not quite sure about german beer in Singapore although the shop which you are referring to does not sell beer if i am correct. Moreover its not a bakery shop but a suasage kiosk....

But must say that the sausages do taste heavenly there.....

Cheers for that folks!

I'll try and work with that... worst case scenario I shall be dragging them to Brotzeit! I'm well excited for those sausages though

A German colleague told me he had divine pretzels there- and he's from Munich so knows what he's talking about!

I work near Novena, and I have been there a few times. Agree about the good food, but not a german, so maybe your idea is different

Hi, you can try Charlie's corner at Aroozoo ave, they stock quite a fair bt of german beer. In addition, you can also try jules verne at sunset avenue (clementi). They have warsteiner and konig luwig on tap.

Hi, I'm not too sure where to look so I created an account to ask.
We just moved back to Singapore after living in a German speaking place for some...

Maybe you could try contacting the German Association for ideas…
