Make Friends -- Visit Botanic Gardens

Hello All:

I have not posted in a whlie, but I joined a number of people in a trip to the museum about two months ago. It was a nice time and I'd like to organize another outing. This time to the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Please join me Saturday May 9, 2009 for an afternoon walking amidst the vegetation and enjoying the park. I have never been to the park, but have heard some good things about it.

Lets meet at the visitor’s centre at 3PM, so we can miss some of the day's heat. We can tour the park for a while and then perhaps afterwards grab some dinner nearby.

Bring cameras, sketchbooks, comfortable footware, and some water.

I moved here about two months ago – from the US (was most recently living in California). I will be living in Singapore for 2+ years, working at an environmental engineering firm. Hope you find singapore a great place to be in!

if you enjoy these nature walks and park visits so much, do seriously consider the MacRitchie Treetop walk. It can even become challenging enough, if you choose to take the "more difficult" route.
