Singaporean but lived in Aust for 5-6years

Post by Sunset Mountain » Sun, 02 Aug 2009 1:02 pm

Hi There,

I am a Singaporean who has lived in QLD and WA for a number of years.

Back in SG working now for the past 3 years or so.

I would like to get to know some Aussies or New Zealanders.

Cheers.

What Singaporeans Do

Post by Sunset Mountain » Mon, 03 Aug 2009 6:23 pm

Hi Blue Angel,

Singaporeans like to shop, eat, and shop again, maybe watch movies.

As for me, I like playing tennis at beginner's level, swimming at a leisurely pace, and chilling out at cafes chatting or perhaps surfing the net.

May I ask which part of Aust are you from, Blue Angel?

Cheers.

How do you all feel about this place?

Post by Sunset Mountain » Wed, 05 Aug 2009 10:28 pm

Hi all,

How do you all feel about this place?

Too crowded, too noisy, too stressful? Too many 'robotic' people around?

I personally feel that this is what the situation is over here.

How about you all? And I dont like the heat too.

There are, however, some good points such as efficient public transport and you can say that safety is relatively good, not that there is no crime, but it is kept to a minimum compared with some other countries.

Cheers.

Yes, it is indeed hot and humid in SG.
