Have you ever try scuba diving before?
For you classes I can ask, if you want, to the diving center where I will go for a try next weekend.

Go to KK (Kota Kinabalu), take the PADI Open Water course with Borneo Divers, they have an office over there. The best in SE Asia, the one and only. Excellent instructors, very nice people too. You can get the course at the beautiful Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine park, the islands just offshore at KK. And then when you finished the Open Water, you do the advanced, so you can visist the beauty of all diving spots: Pulau Sipadan.

I looked the website, sounds very nice I will try to go there but not only for a WE... maybe later.



What I think is that we can try to organize a trip for beginners and no beginners (so everybody can enjoy it)

I did my padi open water certificate in cairns, about five years ago.
I had done supervised scuba diving before that tho; the principles stick
with you, and its really easy to remember.

The worse thing about scuba diving is spending all that time on a rocking boat, and at best you only get to spend about 30minutes in the deep.


If I had more time tho, I'm sure it would be nice to take a dip in the warm waters here !!

Yeah it is true that you spend more time on the boat, than in the deep water, but scuba diving is not the only sport like that...
