zouk brings in a lot of good DJs actually. simian mobile disco was on this friday, and next one coming up is steve aoki, playing at readysetglo on sunday 20 sept (monday is a public holiday).
there are a couple more big names lined up, including infected mushrooms (unbelievable that they are coming!!) who are playing on 26 dec (a little far away, but i can't wait).
other than that, i think majestic bar (near outram park) has resident DJs who are not too bad themselves.

Simian Mobile Disco was in fact very good. Butterfactory plays some Electro / Electro house also, but their lack of a real dance floor bugs me a bit. Check out the free mag 'Juice'... You will find all Club events in there for the month.
Steve Aoki and Diplo is a must, hope I can make it

I'm a fan of soulful house and lounge type electronica (i.e. Jazzanova, Koop, Reel People). Hopefully I will find some good spots once I'm there. Venue suggestions accepted!

Home club at Boat Quay has a good underground trance/electro crowd. Join their facebook grp! They have a monthly psytrance night, next one is 7th Oct, anyone up for it?
