Get-togethers for new expats...

Lots of threads with people new in town....if you're a newbie to Singapore (i.e. newly arrived expatriate) drop me your e-mail details and I'll invite you to the get-togethers I organise. Usually a few drinks out with a bunch of other like-minded newbies....or sometimes might be dinner. Gives us expats a chance to exchange views, experiences and tips!

Actually, the board's sub-forums already cater to that in the Entertainment threads. Try the FNDC, WNDC, etc., etc.

Or revive the peas in a pod. But be careful as you almost sound like a professional organizer.

SwissWife, yeah, that's what we usually do when newbies come on the board all organizing and stuff. It's usually a pretty good give-away.

All it does is raise the red flags of caution for the mods.
