well, i haven't gotten one yet but seems like they cut beenieman from de performers list. that's true? he's the only one from the original set i was actually lookin forward to seein.

Reggae does exist in Singapore. The Bushmen is one of the local reggae band. They were performing at the Hard Rock Cafe but since I've grown old and moved on beyond the clubbing scene, I'm not sure if they're still performing at the HRC.

Perhaps, you would like to give HRC a friendly tinker and try to find where the Bushmen are. They can be found on MySpace though.

singapore should really come up with some reggae clubs or bars. i went to hardrock cafe last sunday to catch the bushmens and they were awesome!! kinda a waste that its only on sundays. should have it more often. ONE LOVE!!!

There is a Filipino Reggae / Ska band called Lupa & the Superstars who are fantastic - so good I booked them for my wedding last year. They only place I know of them playing is The Prince of Wales on Dunlop Street in Little India, but it's not every week so you would need to call the bar or go to their website.

I just checked the PoW website - Feb 18th is the next Lupa gig, at the Little India branch. They are really good - check them out.
