New comer to Singapore

hi all, this is my second month in SG and would like to meet new friends. Just wondering whether there is any gathering coming soon. Brenda, I love karaoke, do let me know if there is any plan.

Hi Van,

This is also my 1.5 mth in Sing.. I am here since 1Mar..
yeah.. How about a Karaoke session in the weekend of 1-2May? (as next weekend I will be in HK)

I don't know any Karaoke place in Sing.. Any suggestion? Any other people interested as well?

can't believe, i also here for 1.5 mth only and also started work on 1 Mar. I work in Raffles, if u also there, we can probably go lunch. I am malaysian but worked in HK for past 7 years, like to go out with friends for karaoke. Lets do it on 1 May! I know there is one karaoke in Marine Square in City Hall, will find out more and book room. Anyone wanna join us?

guys, read ur post, seems like i'm a month earlier, my job started on feb.. am indonesian but do speak cantonese (general conversation type).
am working in suntec .. seems like our work place is quite nearby.. anyway if up for lunch or after lunch coffee i p.m my contact. cheers

hi Chemist and Eric, let meet up for lunch next Friday (30 Apr) at Raffles City or Citylink. Please suggest restaurant as u guys must know better than I do. How about meeting at 12:15pm in the restaurant with the table reserve name/ no.?

oh wow, alot of Australian- Chinese here in Singapore aye.
Ive been here for 2 mths and so bored it's not funny. My roommates have boyfriends so they dont even want to go out on a Sat night, all asleep by 9-30pm. Im about to kill myself.. lol

Whats there to do in Singapore on a weekend?
