Mardarin class for cantonese speaker: where?

Post by fristromcan » Fri, 10 Jul 2009 10:25 am

Hi,

A friend from Hong Kong is looking for mandarin class (group or private) which teaches:

(1) the basic difference between written traditional vs simplified chinese
(2) common words/phrases in Mandarin that is significantly different to that in Cantonese
(3) how to read pinyin

Pls PM or post here if you have any lead. Thanks in advance.

fristromcan, did your HK friend find any Mandarin classes for Cantonese speakers? I'm also interested in learning Mandarin as a Cantonese speaker in Singapore.

Thanks.
