so what's the verdict? When is the next meeting? I'm an expat in New Zealand and a local here. (thought I didn't see myself as an expat but a permanent resident of NZ for the last 8 years..mmmm)

My friends and siblings are all occupied with family and kids so I'm getting a bit bored and it's only my first week here. 3 more weeks to go before I leave sunny Singapore to the cold...!

Will be nice to meet new people and form friendship and a bit of networking..

why don't you organize something and post it...maybe drinks on fri, and brunch on sat kind of thing...and hopefully might get some response from the rest... otherwise, this is is not getting anywhere...

cyg..oh...can also email the rest if they are keen to come along...sounds like coffee instead of brunch might be better...but I don't mind meeting over roti prata or some local food.. yum!

Next week - coffee - sounds good.
I was a coordinator at the Paddock Club last year (not that I was an $8000/ticket guest), so I know it's gonna be hell for you if by "tied up ... with the F1" means you're working.

Perhaps it does take time to gather a group, hence the back and forth threads. We'll see how it goes. Have an awesome weekend
