depandant pass for my wife

hi all,

I am currently in SG on EP applied by my employer.

I wud like my employer to apply for my wife's depandant pass ASAP so tat she can cme here and luk for a job.
my wife is wrkin with an indian co. in mumbai and tryin to relocate thru her current co.

i hve below ques:
1) can her indian co. or any other singapore co. use depandant pass applied by my employer?
2) is it difficult to get my employer apply for my wife's depandant ? or can i myself apply for depandant pass?

in short, wats the best way to get my wife here so tat she can find a job here?

This is the only way you can get an EP in Singapore.

If your employer will not sponsor her for the DP you are out of luck. Additionally, with your spelling, how did you manage to get an EP in the first place? You are supposed to be 'foreign talent', why not show us you have some.

Unless your wife's company has an office in Singapore it's not going to happen.

This question makes absolutely zero sense at all.

We don't work for your employer, don't know which EP you are on. Some employers will, some won't. It's their option. No you cannot apply without the company sponsorship.

If she has a qualifying degree, have her apply for an EPEC and then come here an apply for an LTVP. Otherwise, come here on a SVP for 30 days and hope to get lucky. (but if her English spelling is a bad as yours, it might be difficult)

first of all, I used such short spellings just to type less. my English is just fine.

however, had some questions:

1) how long does it take for a DP to be issued? does it cost a lot to the sponsoring company?
2) what is the process to apply for an EPEC ? and what is a LTVP?

Cost for DP is almost same as the cost of EP. Usually between 40 - 80 SGD per year.

Cost for DP is almost same as the cost of EP. Usually between 40 - 80 SGD per year.

There are no ongoing costs for EP or DP incurred by anyone.
