Moving to Singapore from NYC and looking for new friends

I will be moving to Singapore for work (end of March) so looking to make new friends. Also, I am looking for a place to live as well either on my own or with a roommate(s) so if you know of anyone who is renting or looking for a roommate, please let me know.

Dinner buddies are more than welcome as well as wing-men and wing-women looking to hang out after work.

I just moved to SG myself this month....definitely a new and challenging experience. I'm Asian as well and lived in New Jersey before moving to SG.

I'm sure you'll like it here, but you can be the judge of that when you arrive. Drop me a line when you settle in and we can meet up for a beer or two. I've managed to meet some other expats as well as locals......helps to past the time, especially since my family isn't coming over till this July.

No way. Where in NJ? I grew up near North Edison.

I have been there before for work/fun so I know what to expect but I guess visiting and living are completely different. Yeah, once my flights are booked and I am settled in, I will reach out to you again. And if you know any cool people you can introduce me to, that would be awesome since I only one friend there.
