So I have been here two years, travelled a lot, met people from all walks of life and continue to enjoy this aspect of living here, but......
I need some normality back in my life so fellow Brits/Irish who haven't completely swapped their love of a Sunday roast for Nasi Lemak, get in touch!
I am late twenties from UK.
Once we have enough people willing to meet up lets get togther and put the world to rights over a few too many drinks!
If you only do what you're doing, you will only get what you're getting.....make a change!

Hi,
I am a Scot who has just recently left both HK and my 20's!
The Sunday roast is a tradition that I simply cannot shake and my American BF doesn't understand.....so your suggested Sunday plan sounds great.
Drop me line!

Hey guys,
I'm just about to move to Singapore from London (although originally from Aus) and I am despondent about leaving behind my Sunday roast! Definitely keen to join you guys - I arrive on the 10th of May.
Cheers
Cass

Been here just under 2 years and do suffer from those Sunday Roast cravings especially yorkshire pudding and good gravy. Count me in!

Hi,
Thanks for the responses, looks like we are getting enough of a gang together to set something up!
Cass, Sarah and Mark you can contact me at
[email protected] I'll keep a list of everyone interested and when we have enough people for some good old Sunday banter we can arrange an outing!
To the other responses, this really is a shout out for those used to fry-up down the pub on a Sunday to get together and rave about missing that......not a newbie just looking to make friends. So whilst all are welcome you do really need to associate with the title of the thread.

My first choice for good roast is..... Hooha Cafe
http://www.hoohacafe.com/foods/steaks.html
My second choice would be Figo's Grill, at 369 Tanjong Katong Road.
Food court style, but nice food.
Please post back on your opinion, on the above 2 choices.
Cheers

Thanks for suggestions, not sure 'foodcourt' style is what we are looking for when trying to recreate the feeling of a pub back home on a Sunday...
Anyway I think Queen of Mangosteen's Sunday Roast will do the job and they have decent cider, always goes down well on a Sunday!
I have a few people interested outside of the forum so think we shoud arrange something for Sunday, 15th May?
Is everyone free?

Scruffy Murphy's at East Coast Park do an OK dinner but no roast potatoes..the words 'defeat' and 'point' spring to mind!
Be great to try somewhere new...Will add on FB. Cheers
