32/M Just arrived from USA, need some new buddies (M or F)

I moved here from Philadelphia and am looking for some nice people to meet. It would be great to chat and get some good advice to make my transition go smoothly. I'm also looking for a condo for <$2500 so any suggestions are welcomed. I'm staying at a hotel in Clarke Quay for now and will be working around Toa Payoh.
I like to go jogging, lift weights and play tennis although I'm severely out of practice.

I'm sorting out all the basics, (bank account, cell plan, condo selection), and it would be great to meet a guy or girl who can offer some advice or just hang out and grab drinks/go shopping/walk around/etc.

Work place? -- So we can advise where you should apartment hunt

Laptop + Internet You should be able to get all the information you need.

One at a time - Get a Mobile Plan first! There is Starhub, Singtel, M1 (not sure about address issue if you are still staying at a hotel)

Bank account - Standard Chartered is not too bad for savings account wise.

Have the temporary cell covered (StarHub) and will get permanent from SingTel in a few days. As far as the living situation goes, it seems that the best option is to room with somebody else. So, if anyone is looking to share a nice 2bdrm unit let me know. Somewhere between Novena and Toa Payoh would be nice, but I'm open to other locations as well; just want it to be newer construction with nice rooms/bathrooms, etc.

I'm also looking to meet some fun people to hang out with, so if anyone is available to meet up let me know. Aside from my condo search I'm free this week starting Wednesday.
