My Japanese - Your Korean, Malay or Mandarin

Post by shufu » Sat, 26 Feb 2011 3:51 pm

Hi, I am a homemaker from Japan.

I would like to have language exchange friends who are native in either Korean, Malay or Mandarin.

I am only looking for female friends, preferably housewives who can meet me regularly.

Hi, I'm female Korean. My name is Irene. I'm 34 years old. I used to be a teacher in Korea before. For your information, I will talk more about myself. I think I am friendly and I like to meet people and have a conversation with them. Also, I like to paint and travel. I'm keen on watching Japanese drama very much! Also, I have a lot of interest in learning foreign language.
I've been here since from July last year and I live in Orchard area. And now I am learning English.
I can speak Japanese but I think my Japanese is just basic level. But I have a lot of interest in Japanese drama and novel, so I am learning Japanese as well. Of course, I'm learning it through the textbook by myself. I want to have an opportunity to speak in Japanese with a Japanse to improve my Japanese. :)
And I have taught Korean to foreigners in Korea before. If you want, I think we will be good friends that teach our languages to each other. I have a lot of free time so I am very flexible when it comes to meeting times. My email is [email protected]. Please email me.
I am looking forward to your reply. Thank you! :)

Hi Shufu,

I am mandarin native speaker and also speak very good English. Plus I am a housewife by now, would have quite flexible time during the weekdays. Let me know if you want to meet up regularly for the language exchange. I have very basic Japanese knowledge and would love to pick it up again and improve it! Hope to talk soon!

Hi shufu,

I'm a newbie to this forum and I'm new to the country as well.
I'm 34/F from Indonesia, currently not working so it makes me a homemaker too :)
I'm looking to make new friends here and would be a great idea too that we all can exchange language from one another. I can teach you bahasa Indonesia if you're interested. If not, maybe we can just hang out.

Please count me in (you can email me [email protected]) if you already have a group of people that still excepting new member :)

Thank you & have a good day!
