dear Culture X
it had been a fun half year organising activities and joining all the fun from meeting all you cool interesting people.
however I will be leaving the country for some sabbatical for a few months, and so please continue to post your interest and ideas for the international experience you have been getting from Culture X.

Priyam, openbox aka Chris, and Darren 'Funky' Francis will be taking over the bulk of the events planning, marketing, and leadership from now on.

Hi! My name is Julian.

This is a thread for the international experience group CULTURE X, which stands for Culture Exchange.

The social group is to relive the social activities foreigners experience in their country, right in Singapore.
As such, 'hobby' stuff like cooking, skating, cycling, photography, all the way to the universal drinking, dining, eating out, are part of the group activities.

A little about myself...
I returned from the UK in Feb 2010.
I have lived in Sheffield(Near manchester) for 5 years.
I have been to Japan many times, and a couple times to Korea.
Travelled much to Europe, USA, once to Oz, and around south east asia. well I'm a traveller

Our social group would like to meet/email/language exchange with any foreigner who wants to chat and know about local culture.

Job~
I am currently working in a company dealing with PR, and HR consulting. I try to bring people with different personalities together, and work as a team for the common goal.
I like doing window shopping with people, and explore different tourist areas. We are talking mostly about fashion trends, and explore new areas of fun in Singapore -- those tour places Singaporeans might not know much about!

The group has a pro photographer, and I have learnt some basic photography as a result.

My spoken languages: English, Mandarin, Japanese, and a bit of Korean ^_^
