Poker scene in Singapore

Hows the poker scene in singapore? I was told there is no poker at the casinos yet. What about poker scene outside of it(both recreational and high stakes cash/multi-table tournaments)? Anybody has any ideas ...

I heard that as well then someone said you can play against others at MBS so definitely worth checking out (I haven't as yet)

I checked the MBS site and dont see texas hold 'em listed in the table games. About pokerkaki ... i did try to get information but see only tournaments happening all over south east asia ... not singapore in particular. Are they playing MTTs with cash prize pool in singapore?

Ya I thought that as well maybe the guy who told me hasn't been himself and just passing on the story will go check it out would be worthwhile just to see...

there are a lot of informal poker groups, i.e. mostly run / managed by 'bankers' ..

Cos I happened to walk into one .. some time ago ..

They are pretty low key, due to the legal issues .. and that's all I know ..

Though they insisted that they DONT PLAY FOR $ .. just for fun ..
