I'm 23/f/Japanese-Vietnamese (mixed), I know Japanese and Vietnamese recipes, are you keen? I'd love to learn how to bake cakes too since I'll be marrying my long term bf next month, hope I can cook him good food :p I may not be a very good cook but I can cook a few dishes pretty well

This sounds like an excellent idea!! my name is Yuko and I'm a 25F, NZ bred Japanese. I absolutely adore any kind of cooking but cooking for just myself has been tad depressing. I used to work at a restaurant professionally, and have some recipes I can share from back then(and I won't mention whether pavlova is nz or aus :p) Also I can do asian meals like dumplings where everyone can make together!
I live in Sembawang so I can only do weekend or Friday nights, but please do keep me up to date with plans!
Yummy! I love salmon! Grilled in some teriyaki or hoisin sauce is divine, the skin gets crispy and flavoured at the same time. Or smoked slices of salmon and freshly cooked peeled prawns with cream cheese, a squeeze of lemon, and lettuce on bruschetta toasts or a bagel.......mmmmmmmm!!!apple&dog wrote:Hey Everyone,
I just did a salmon last week, it was amazing.
The skin of the salmon is crispy. the salmon is nicely done. served with rice. Fabulous.
