U.S. citizen (Indian) looking for local address for PEP app.

Hello, all! I'm a U.S. citizen looking for a local address belonging to a PR or SG citizen to put down on my Personal Employment Pass application?Would you know anyone who would be able to supply a local address? If need be, I could pay them SGD 100 + the application fee of SGD 10 for this service. It should take no more than a couple of hours. They will need to do two things.

1) Mail the completed application that I send them by going to SingPost and paying a S$10 (ten dollars only) application fee.
2) Notify me when a response is received.

The information needed is simple - residential address in Singapore:
Postal Code:
Block/House No:
Floor No
Unit No:
Street Name:
Building Name:

Please let me know if something can be done about this. I will send a draft drawn on a bank in Singapore with the application. Thank you.

You don't need a local contact.

It is requested, if available, on an 'in case of emergency' basis.

You are right in saying that the local contact does not have to be furnished at the time of application.

From part 3 of the form:
"PART 3 – LOCAL CONTACT PERSON
(Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who is 21 years old and above)
Overseas applicant who does not have a local contact person at the point of application can furnish the details during pass collection, if the
application is successful. You must provide a valid address for correspondence in Part 1A of the application form."
And the address they ask for in Part 1A is a Singapore residential address.
Hence, the request.

What is your current pass? And for how long you have been issued with this pass? Why don't you ask your current employer's local contact person and with local address?

depends whether you are doing a favor, and whom you give your contact / address to.

There is nothing illegal: couple of my cousins' use my address for their bank statements/ letters, as they are not in Singapore ...

Though it is your own caveat to do it or not ..

I understand that this guy is applying for PEP and of course our assumption is that he is a current EP holder.. I was asking what EP he is holding (P1 or P2) because this types of EP has tenure as well as income requirements for him to be qualified for PEP otherwise his application will be wasted.

Why would it be your assumption that he is a current, or even former, EP holder. Do you actually know what all the methods of securing a PEP are? If not, maybe you should go to the MOM site before you continue.......

You might want to check the very FIRST qualifier. If you cannot dispense accurate information, you would do better just lurking.....
