My English & Mandarin for your French

Post by Vivinn » Fri, 04 Nov 2011 3:21 pm

Hello, I'm Singaporean, mid-30s, and have worked & lived in NY & London for the past 14yrs.

I just returned from NYC last month and would like to polish my french with preferably native speakers, in exchange for proper English (I know both American and British slangs.... accents too!) or Mandarin (strictly Singapore-style mandarin... not with any specific China provincial accents). No worries about Singlish or bad grammar. I do not speak Singlish and I'm a writer.

I've had only 2 yrs of learning French at the Alliance Francaise in NYC, and am more comfortable with reading than speaking... basically, I need to move on from passive to active french!

Let me know if anyone’s interested in a cup of coffee and fun plays of our language exchanges. I currently freelance from home so am flexible with meeting anytime weekdays!
