Free-port-free-talk Fridaynite for HK friends

Post by letgo123 » Fri, 11 Nov 2011 11:59 am

Hi, all friends from HK, :D

I am Wai Man here - a guy has been working here for a couple of years. I think most of friends, no matter new or old, may have the same thought of getting Hongkongers together to chat and make friends especially when we are away from home.

I intend to call out those Cantonese speakers from HK to chit-chat and have dinner together at Kopitiam-City Square at Farrer Park MRT, so we don't feel lonely anymore and can feel ourselves home with the same language we understand, the same place we are from and the same topics we may have interest to talk about.... And when we are in cross or in lost, we feel someone are there to talk and advise...

Plesae feel free to join and introduce yourself using Cantonese at the corner near Fruit counter of the Kopitiam(Whatever you like to eat or drink will be on your own account). Just enjoy being free!

Let's start meeting at 7:00pm tonite, see you there.

Hi Albert,

Thanks for the message. It's never late as you can drop in any friday. I just want to kick it off to have a regular place and time for Hongkongers to gather together. Whenever those who like to gather and chat may pop up there.

To those who enjoy liquor and bear, Kopitiam (City Square) may not be a good place for them to turn up, but people of same interest can have chance to come together and go for what they like afterward. So the place I suggested can function as the first gathering place.

In future, no matter I am there or not, I hope every Hongkongers can have a regular platform to come togther.

See you next Friday same place and same time if you can make it.
Anyone else like to join and make it a bigger forum? If anyone of you likes to be contacted specfically by then, you may leave your mobile number or drop me some line via email.
