Hi there
I am a 24 year old woman from Australia who has recently moved to Singapore to work for 2 years minimum. Whilst here I am looking to meet new people, try new things and want to add a new language to the mix as well.
If there are any French speakers looking for assistance with English, please respond or PM me. Alternatively, any French speakers who are willing to meet up and share their beautiful language skills and meet up as friends for coffee/a meal/drink, let me know as I don't know many people here so always happy to meet new people.
I look forward to hearing from you!

You want to pick up a new language? Why not Mandarin. Lot's of speakers here. Would be a lot easier and you will get a whole lot more respect with Mandarin than you get with French.

No comment. I've forgotten all of my schoolboy french shortly after VN. I found Ben Franklin's often worked better, and weren't near as permanent.

Lol at your comments. I agree Mandarin would be much more useful in a business context, but I figure I work enough so want to take up the hobby for me and learn a language I'd enjoy. I am travelling to Europe later in the year and have heard it's quite difficult to get around France without speaking French, so thought instead of just learning the basics, why not push myself and try to get atleast conversational?
So do either of you speak French?

I do, but not if I can help it!!
I'd just make them speak English because they hate doing that with a passion!!

French is a beautiful language.
I learnt it in French Studio a school in Katong.
It was very good, my teacher was a french native speaker.

Hi,
I'm 27/m/local, and am fully trilingual in English/Mandarin/French since I lived in Paris for 7 years. I guess I can help you in both French and Mandarin if you're interested.
PM me if you're interested.
