Beginner Mandarin Meetup

Post by aussy_ng » Sat, 04 Aug 2012 11:57 am

Hi all,

I'm a beginner in Mandarin and would like to know if anybody (Mandarin learner) want to meetup for practice?

I think the best way to practice your language is from study group with same interested in language and aim :D

Cheers,
TH

Hi. I am studying Chinese by myself, and interested to know more about your meetup.

I am available during daytime on weekdays only, though.

I can have a basic conversation in Mandarin, eg.
wo yao zhi lunch...inggai xian cai xia yi (sorry for my bad hanyu pinyin), pretty basic level like that. Would love to blurt it out with anyone interested likewise, doesn't matter right or wrong just for us to overcome the initial hurdle of confidence, i guess. Weekdays daytime is ok for me, rain or shine, i'll be there with or without umbrella!

I have never really learn Mandarin before but I kinda pick it up from the street. I would love to learn how to read some and speak a proper sentence.

Please let me know if some of you are getting together for some meeting ^-^

Hi, this is great! I would love to join your grp n practice/learn together :)
I took full basic manadarin courses twice, but stopped practicing & have forgotten a lot!

I used to listen to chinese songs a lot and watch a lot of taiwanese dramas to help me too :P

It was so fun using it when I visited China & Taiwan for hol....but its very rusty now!

Hope to hear from u soon! :) Thanks

Anything happening to this meetup group? If it is on-going, I would love to join.
