I had been following this forum since the day I touch down in SIngapore in 2011. I thought of contributing some info and hopefully it will help those thinking of applying PR.
I applied for my PR on 25 August and got approval in 3 weeks. My personal info -
Age: 29
Race: Chinese (Malaysian)
Gender: Male
Marital Status: Single
Profession: Medical
Salary: 10k plus
Degree: Professional Degree
Employment in Singapore: 10 months

Your info reaffirms the fact the Malaysian Chinese continues to be the flavour of the season, with the right qualifications and favourable salary range of course.

I am surprised at the "3 weeks processing time" even though your profile seems to be preferable. Did you apply in response to an invitation letter for PR or just apply directly?

The processing is indeed 3 weeks. I got the letter by mid month of september. Sorry for correction I applied for PR directly on 25 August...
