I heard about this last week and I'm going to be checking it out this coming weekend. It's a small island off the east of Singapore that's supposedly rather rural and quiet with a bunch of different animals to see (wild boars, lizards, monkeys, etc).
You can bring your own bike or rent them on the island for a couple bucks. The ferry (bumboat) from Changi Village itself costs about $3 and leaves when it has enough people (they can carry 10-15 folks).
You can get food on the island, but not a huge variety.
There are at least two buses that go to Changi Village (#2 and #9) that leave from downtown area.
Where to meet: Changi Village ferry terminal.
When: 1pm on Saturday, Oct 6th. We'll casually bike for 2 hours or so.
What to bring: Water & food (as you feel you need), sense of humor, deodorant, camera
Please email me (mkszuch at gmail dot com) or send me a PM if you want to RSVP. I'll update this thread later in the week once I have a better idea of participation.
Hope to see you there!

Maybe next time! Next weekend I'm going to try and do organize something else.
So far 4 folks have signed up for the bicycling on Saturday, more are welcome!

Unfortunately, no. You have to ride your bike there. FYI, your bike needs to be paid for in the boat as well. Singapore isn't really bike commuter friendly.

Thanks for all the interest! So far there are 5 "definite" and 4 "probably".
As a reminder, please PM or email me (mkszuch at gmail dot com) with your phone number if you are going to come, so we don't leave the ferry terminal without you.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Seems like it'll be a good sized group, very cool!
I'll be the white guy in a green t-shirt a the ferry terminal around 12:50.
