Movie + coffee?

Hi guys, I'm a 30/m Malaysian, and my wife's 29/f American. We just got in from Boston a few months ago, and would like to meet other expats around!

We're not big into drinking, but does anyone want to catch a movie (Looper's coming out, it's got good reviews) next Sunday 14 Oct? And chat over coffee after? We'd love to meet people!

Just watched the trailer and it looks pretty good. I'll be free after 2pm as am going to brunch first - why don't you join? (noon at Fine Palate cafe, bras basah - probably a good way to met more expats too)

So the times for Looper have come out, do these times/places look good? Somewhere central so it's hopefully convenient for most, plus we can get coffee or something after to discuss the movie (and also meet each other).

Tiong Bahru gets my vote!

I think Dhoby Ghaut gets really packed on weekends (at least the last time I was there!).

Not sure how many will be at brunch, I just replied to the post on the 30's forum. I think it's a regular thing. If you reply, they'll probably book a bigger table to accommodate.
