Hey everyone, hope your weekend's been as well as mine so far. Just like to share something that I spotted today while visiting the Singapore Expo for the electronics fair:
This is pretty much never before seen, did anyone else spot the sliced car today?

looks like a mazda 323 with the logo and model number removed.
based on the picture, i think it's a posed pic... some sort of advertisement?
did you use whatever gizmo is needed to load that QR barcode thing on the stand?

Good job for the giant inflatable pointy red arrow in the bay next to it, or I really might not have noticed the car on it's side.

Love the cartoon strip, Nakatago
Well taxico, I didn't scan the code though but searched online for any possible report mentioning this half car and found this:

Haha this is quite an interesting way of advertising, imo. & I agree with you, JR8 that without that inflatable balloon this sliced car might just go unnoticed.

doesn't look halved to me, looks like it's on it's side, maybe without the wing mirror?

Only saw the link now. Suspension of disbelief fail. A light saber indeed cut through a car but what happened to the other half? Melted? At most, the car should be at an angle. If they were going for the fantasy realm, they could have at least been consistent.

Trouble with this car/ad 'thing' is no one knows what it is (hence the long discussion here).
You want a clever ad, but not
SO clever it has to be explained to you try this for example...

Honestly, I don't think the car was even split in half. Ok maybe not exactly half but that was the reason why I didn't get it at first look. I thought it was just on its side. Had to scour all over the picture to see if it is one of the other cars.
