My English for your French

Post by mattks » Thu, 11 Oct 2012 9:19 pm

I'm rather decent in the English area, it's my first language and I'd like to think that I understand it pretty well. Please note this is US English and not that crazy British English. :)

I am interested in practicing my French more. I lived in Montreal for 4 years and learned a bit there, but I need to improve significantly. Conversationally I can understand most things, but don't have the vocabulary to express myself very well.

I am also not very good at writing, though that is of secondary importance to me.

Please either PM me or email me (mkszuch at gmail dot com).

Merci,
-Matt

Alliance Francaise

Alliance Francaise is a cultural center and a language school at the same time. You should totally check that place out, it's near Newton MRT...

Other wise, housing estates in the vicinity of the French Lycee of Singapore (Serangoon Gardens/Ang Mo Kio West/Bukit Timah - balmoral) are places where a lot of French expats live).

Also, you can talk to the owners of our many French bistros....
